Accessible Walks

There are hundreds of different walks in and around the Bradford area all with varying degrees of accessibility.  At Bradford Get Out There we believe the expression "accessible walk" is a relative term and it is up to the individual walker as to whether they can tackle a particular walk or not.  It is therefore important to plan the walk beforehand and have as much up to date information as possible so the walker can decide for themselves if the walk is suited to them. An example of how this can work is to use an access survey, and Bradford Get Out There has been involved in such surveys for Natural England's Phototrails - see No 3 Roberts Park below.

The directory below shows a number of walks undertaken by one of our Walk Leaders with around 40 different walkers over a 4 year period.  Bradford Get Out There are in the process of surveying many of these walks with the intention of making the information available over the coming year.  Those not surveyed will be linked to an online map so you can still find out where they are.

Why not check them out as they become live!
